Hello enki.... :-)

Mostly uncertainty, despair, & bad dreams.

I was hoping for a message in a bottle that would say: "Somebody out there cares for you intimately".

Aaaahh, look what just washed up, dried coconuts again!

Well if life is a beach, what gets washed off my shore would be tiny grains of sand that were an intricate part of my life in one way or another, it could be an experience, a memory or even a part of my personality. Every little piece of sand no matter what type it is or how big each grain is are a part of my beach they can add or take away from the experience or even the memory of a beach and then again every now and then if you look hard enough you'll find these hidden treasures that lie just below the surface and sometimes you'll find some treasures just above the surface too. On my beach you will find love and death, a wide variety of things some you will like others maybe not so much but each thing good or bad helps balance out the life of the beach and makes it into a beautiful place that can be quite calming and lovely. One of those places where you are drawn back to it all the time and becomes one of your favorite places to go because it makes you feel good. hugs and kisses to you friend. hope your beach is calm, beautiful and full of life, with beautiful rays of shine shining down on you, warming you up and showing how lush and beautiful you truly are.

If Life is a Beach, what often gets washed off on my shore? I would say my Grand children, it seems I am always taking care of them, sometimes Five in a row.

Worries, negative thoughts and feelings about my circumstances or people in my present surroundings that have no peace in their own lives....I see them on the shore and I look out to the vast ocean to look towards the future to see what lies ahead as the waves push out to the sea...and I see also my aloneness and sadness from the rest of the world at times the far away feelings of where my home is and where I belong on this earth as I look out to the blue beautiful ocean....for now the beach brings me calm and peace but as I look to the shore I have many unanswered questions about my life and where in that vast sea I am forever searching tooooooooo

Beautiful question my friend :))) Have a beautiful weekend :))

Every wave that crashes my beach washes away footprints, so that every step is a new path, independent of the last step and irrespective of the previous path. They leave nothing on my shore, just infinite new paths and possible futures.

I have sand in my shorts.

If my life is a beach, then the waves would represent the passage of time; the Time that is eating away at my youth. Just as the relentlessness of the ocean tides that washes the sands away, one layer at a time; the passage of time would also propel me closer towards the inevitable end of my life, one day at a time.

And I lie here, hopelessly witnessing the gradual loss of my youth, desperately holding onto whatever that remains of the vitality that I possess, and valiantly embracing life, one day at a time, until this sunny, beautiful beach that is my existence, remains no more…

The flotsam and jetsam of my life is an interesting variety of things and people, both rejects and treasures. I enjoy beachcombing. Sometimes I'm the starcaster, throwing starfish back into the ocean for another chance at life. Sometimes I'm the collector, gathering the pretty shells and baubles to add to others sitting around my house in dishes that used to be ashtrays, Always I'm interested and curious.

Somehow time is always out of my reach, slipping through my fingers like sand on a shore.

Life is a journey; don't wander around on the beach for too long, observing the flotsam and jetsam; get moving!

I find that helpful in my life!
