I mean, if the grasshopper and I were to exchange places and HE was flicking me off the screen, the fall would be comparable to a 3 story building and I'd be.. well immobile. Is this a sign insects will rule the world eventually?

E=MC2. Super important becasue understanding that is what your not getting. The more mass you have the more energy you well excert dependent on your volicty. So in lame mans term. You can only throw him so hard. Try! Now if we could lift you up and throw you... well splat. Because he only weights between 1-3 grams, you on the other hand wiegh ooo over 100 pounds. So much more mass means so much more energy to get you up to his same speed. It isn't about the proportions, its about the EXACT mass envovled. Techinqual if we made him your size and you his size, the same thing would happen, well not really becasue were a bit softer then our insect brothers, so we would still splat if the force was good enough.... which IS why insects do have skellies on the outside, it means more for them, then it would for us. Amour for us would make it to hard for us to move.....
