Why is this question in the Yahoo answers section of royalty?

Female circumcision is. Male circumcision has a very low rate in Norway, Denmark and Sweden (as compared to 60 percent in the United States, 48 percent in Canada, 24 percent in the United Kingdom, and 15 percent in Australia--all countries where infants males were once routinely circumcised). Less than one percent of all Norwegians are Jewish.
Now what does this have to do with royalty?

Norwegians are not circumcise. Nor is the is this practice in Europe. The only reason circumcised is done in Norway is for mostly medical reasons etc or for ethnic people living there.

Circumcision has never been routine in the UK. It was for a while in Australia but not in recent years. In Australia now it is available for medical reasons but if you want it for non-medical reasons you have to pay for it as you do with any voluntary surgery.
Genital mutilation of children should be banned everywhere except for medical reasons.

No it's not illegal to get circumcised in Norway, provided that the tradition wearing of the Viking helmet is observed.

It's not illegal in any European country, but on the other hand in a lot of European countries it is not done as a matter of course but only for medical or religious reasons.

It isn't for male but it is for female, unlike in africa/arabia countries.
