Well, I see why they wouldn't politically--they may only lose voting base and not gain a whole lot of the gay vote as Republicans don't have a very good track record with them. It would only hurt, not help their numbers.

I think that Republicans should hear everyone out though...but I don't necessarily think that they have to target every special interest group.

All forums should be held irrespective of groups.

I want my President to represent all the people, not just whatever group is hosting the current debate.

I hope both parties have many more of these, excluding none of the candidates, but have them addressing all issues, not just pandering each wek to a different special interest.

That was such a dumb Political Statement. I mean wow how warm and fuzzy to answer questions and show how "Open" you are. Knowing that there is nothing a President can do to help or hurt gays. It's all up to the States.
I just wish people would actually learn how our Government worked, and chhose leaders based on what they are actually able to do.....

The Republicans aren't trying to win the votes from gays, they are only trying to win the votes of evangelicals.
