Do you believe a lot of people on here are overly sensitive?

Question

I know I am overly sensitive &my feelings get hurt easily. But a lot of people just go around, reporting questions that are in their opinion "stupid or offensive". If it's not a violation, why report it or give a rude answer? Why not just ignore it & move on to other questions. There are billions of open questions.

I agree totally !! They should just move on but they won't so you'll have to get thick skinned on here so don't let them bother you their small fish in a big pond!!

I don't think the people who report questions are sensitive. They are trouble makers.

You are right, there are so many open questions, why get yourself upset over one question that you can ignore.

There are some questions that I am offended by. I don't go into R & S any longer because there are always questions like; "Why are people so stupid that they believe in God?" I do consider that offensive but I just ignore it and don't answer. Aethiests have a right to their opinion but why go around insulting people with other opinions?

I hate to say it this way but when I read that the word "ignorance" came into my head over "offensivness" but it's most likely a combination of the two. I opted to adopt out my baby because the father lives off the system and can't keep a job, much less get one and Im 20 and am living with my parents while I work part time and go to college. And I'm white! Every race faces poverty an BTW the cost agency's force the adoptive parents to pay (even tho most of it goes to free couseling for the birth mothers before and after the birth and lawyers and stuff, non goes to the mother) is the reason why I choose independent adoptions. The adoptive parents only pay for my lawyer to legalize the adoption and in some cases the medical expenses.

You are so right! But a lot of people are so self centered that they believe every question pertains to them. Others are passive-aggressive and like to get back at people anonymously by reporting or giving a mean answer. I asked a question and this really rude jerk answered, "snore." I thought he was a real idiot for bothering me. Remember that there are 10-12 year old kids on here and they can be some of the immature idiocy we see. Best of luck to you!!

yeah they are..i also get hurt easily but I do NOT get offended by anything here. I can ignore it. I actually had someone block me because I said something about loving Buk . I have to block anyone who has me blocked because those kinds of people go back through your previous questions/ answers just looking something to report. I mean cool out it is not the presidential election here ..this category is supposed to be fun

yea ur right..the only ones I report though r the really nasty ones about babies and kids I mean some of them r just sick.
I tell u what if somebody said the kind of question standing right by me that person would get there a*s kicked and I dont care if there joking or not. You dont joke around about rapping babies and lil kids .

Yeah, some are just so ignorant of what a sense of humor is. And they have that "patrol" now that wants to report us for being HUMAN. Heavens, people....get a grip!

i agree with you 100%! people are really rude! i think that it is ecully rude to report someones answer because it hurt your feelings! you have a good point!
