To everyone who didn't know 4 was unlucky: It's considered a VERY unlucky number all over East Asia, since in a lot of languages the word for "four" is the same word used for "die". Therefore, the number four is the same as death itself.

numbers like 1 and 3 are unlucky, hence 13 lol.
6 is also unlucky sometimes, because of the relevance to "666". (satan)

luckier numbers include numbers that have neverending edges, like 0 and 8. also like 80, 88, 00, 08.

when talking about apartments, generally the numbers with lucky numbers in them sell fast, while the ones with 1 and 3 and 4 in them are harder to sell.

Any number like thirteen that can be add to make four like 22. The number can be taken and made into four like such 2+2=4 or thirteen 1+3=4 then of course four 0+4=4. So anything that can be taken and made into 4 by adding like above is considered unlucky. Then in large numbers like 679 you would do like this 6+7+9=22 then take the result and do the same 2+2=4.

13 is the only unlucky number that I ever heard of. Never heard about 4. What's the deal with 4?

For some reason, the number four always bothered me, but this is the first time I've heard of it being unlucky.

But I think it really all depends on perception... when I was afraid that "4" was unlucky, it usually did bring me bad luck, but as soon as I convinced myself that it wasn't unluckly (as an experiment) it ceased to be trouble.

Three, as in three on a match (during the trench warfare of WW I, if three person lit a cigarette on the same match, it allowed a sniper time to sight in and shoot the third person).

In playing the dice game "craps", box cars, or the two single die squares looses.
