...tongue-in-cheek, delightfully ghoulish and over-the-top decadence...a snickering chuckling jester, possessing a most macabre and sinister sense of humor...this is what I think of, when the late, great Vincent Price comes to mind...

I am most hard-pressed to decide upon a favorite Price film...could it be the hammy, over-the-top and twisted Shakespearian performance in "Theater of Blood???...the macabre, ghoulish and vengefully monstrous take in the "Phibes" movies???...the grim, determined and deadpan serious characterization in "The Last Man on Earth"??? What about his egg-statically, egg-citingly, egg-straordinarily egg-spert Egghead, in the old '60's 'Batman' T.V. series???....

...ah, heck!!! Why decide??? I'll take 'em all!!!

You`re going back a long long ways. I can remember (this is how old I am) when he was on a TV quiz show called "The $64,000.00 Question". I was never crazy about his movies.

Masque of the Red Death is one of my faves!

Even though it is totally different then Ed Poe~s work, the movie version is still weird enough and freaky enough to thrill the viewer.

Cheesy! But they scared me when I was in the fourth graded & saw them in the theater on Saturday afternoon. He made a bunch of them in the late 1950's.

He is a classic actor who made classic movies. I will take the black and whites over the color remakes any day!
