I was bullied. I told my aunt and she came down the school and warned the girls off and they left me alone.
It hasnt changed me and I dont dwell on it or even think about it much but its made me very protective of my son.

Depends on what you mean by bullying, I suppose.
Primary school - I was the one of the very few Asians at a predominantly white school and yet I got along fine with most of the kids. Sure, there were a few that would hint at something racist but throughout all of those years, I only got into two or three fights overall.
And at secondary school, well no-one bullied me at all, although some people would try to humiliate me somehow, by trying to embarrass me in front of others (I guess that counts as verbal bullying, which is just as bad). Usually though, I'd respond with something equally witty and turn the tables on them if I could. After the early years of secondary school, just about everyone that had tried this backed off - they probably knew they couldn't win...
As for bullying other people, nope, I can definitely say I've never done that.

I was bullied pretty much from the start of Secondary school. In Primary school we were all cool, no one had any fights etc...
I am a quiet person. Natural target for any bully, and hell I got targeted alot...
But we moved to a small rural town - everyone is soft here compared to the big city of London, so I took whatever people here could throw at me with a smile on my face.. >=]
I also used to bully my sister at the same time that I was gettnig bullied in school though... its all in the past now!

School meant being bullied... I hated being bullied, but not school....
I had a bus trip of an hour to get to school and back, and each trip to school I had an hour to get nervous and afraid in... and always I was the one who took the misery...
It has changed me indeed. Anyone who treats me without respect these days, can go stuff themselves.
I avoid confrontation in an angry manner, I avoid fight at all. I am however stronger for it, and if I ever see anyone being bullied I will be the first to stop it. I've done so already.

I was bullied for 2 years at junior school. One day she started pushing and hit me and I snapped and started hitting back. She never bullied me after that, but for 2 years she made my life hell. I think it probably affected me, because I still hate confrontation and would still rather keep quiet or walk away to avoid arguments and violence. I don't think that is all down to this though as there are other things that have happened over the years.

examine the e book suggested as "obstacles by Tom Townsend." Cognitive scientific care interior the portion of obstacles and boundary violators is a very good first step. Take a step back and seem how a lot destruction is brought about by anger. Anger is in touch interior the completed factor. This rips you and others off from a particular courting. Relationships take annoying paintings and dedication. the quick decrease of pushing and shoving catches up and the emotional invoice is heavy. changing is annoying paintings, yet achieveable. that's no longer uncomplicated. No shortcuts!

I'm currently still at school, I'm sort of like the Robin Hood of bullying, if I see some small kid getting a hard time, I'd give the bully a bit of sh*t since I'm well respected and 'high ranked' in my school.. I don't know if it's right what I'm doing but it seems fair to me

No wasn't a bully but stood up to one on behalf of my pal. My wee bud was slightly deaf in one ear and had loads of problems. She was told not to get water near her ear, so instead of washing her hair had to use talc. This bullying female was calling her all sorts - smelly, etc. I wasn't having that so I came out with words I never thought I'd hear myself uttering - Woods at 4 o'clock! I was crapping myself but she took a swing at me, hit me in the stomach and that was it. I HATED being hit in the stomach so I drew my hand right back and let her have it! Knocked her right off her feet and she ended up crying her eyes out. That was the end of her bullying days. That was primary school and my one and only fight! I still stick up for the "underdog".

I was bullied from Elementry to High school. The way it changed me is I learned to speak up for myself and defend and help myself and people I love and care about. It took me years to over come my shyness but better late then never!
