Is it just the nature of the world to compound several crises into one day/week, or is it just that the stress of the first problem makes everything that comes after it seem way more important and stressful than it really is?

What do you think?

I understand what you are sainyg and it goes along with the old proverb, "bad things come in threes". It just means that when one thing starts to go wrong, you may start to notice other things that may also go wrong, things that you may have overlooked before. Just don't let yourself get hung up on the bad or the stressful things and enjoy what good things may come from them instead.

I think that we simply don't hear about all of them, we can only handle a few at a time, and well, the ones that are most important or pressing are the ones that get the attention. For example, how often do we think about the poverty in our very own country? It has been a problem forever. But the second a celebrity gets drunk or has an argument, it makes front page news.

Whether something phases you not at all, or turns into
a high-speed zombie depends entirely on your belief system.

What you believe affects how you perceive.
How you perceive affects what you think.
What you think affects how you act and what you do.
What you do gets a reaction from the environment.
Once you accept that, you can actually analyze situations in terms of what beliefs are being impinged on.
This is not theory. I have been doing it for 5 years and have achieved great results in my field.
