why is it men think they can can lie and get away with in the past five year i dont think myboyfreind as told me the truth much i am really pissed if with the lies now

Men lie 2 get what they know u would never agree 2, its also a form of controlling u and the relationship weak and small thinking man know how 2 do nothing else but lie, its the only way they can communicate, its up 2 u 2 say i have had enough of ur bullsh-- u know deep down when u r being lied 2 its always written on their face get that dog out of ur life u can't trust him he can not see past his self and thats really what and why he keeps lying HE WANTS WHAT HE WANTS BY ANY MEANS he does not care if it hurts u r how u feel r what u think.U deserve much better

They are a little like kids - they don't like getting into trouble. Some of the men-creatures also enjoy the thrill of 'getting away with it'. After 5 years of lies, is it time to call it a day?

While no one likes liars, to say that it is a "male" problem is not only unfair it is a lie. I wonder why it is you choose to remain in a relationship for 5 years with a man who lies to you. By allowing this to go on you are basically telling him it is ok. He has no reason to change since there are no repercussions.

Maybe cause HE is scared to tell the truth.Not all men lie some people in general lie.Just sit down and have an honest chat with him.Ask him his reasons for the lying but don't get upset while he's telling you the truth.

I don't think it's men so much, I'd much rather trust a man than another woman. Women are just as conniving and my rule is don't trust them as far as you can throw them. Men lie because they think they can get away with it, if they're really happy with something they won't do anything to risk it. So unless he thinks you're stupid *in which case you should dump him anyway* he won't lie.

in honesty the faults we see in others, are normally the faults we ourselves have but refuse to accept.
everybody lies sweetheart, its a part of life.
sometimes we lie cause we can't help it and othertimes we lie cause its easier than facing the truth.
some people are just complusive.

why is it that some people like to generalise one person is all people or adaquatly represent the entire group to which they can be attributed, and for that matter speak as tho that is reasonable?
if you can answer reasonably the whole of that - then reasonably I can answer your question.
