Am I the only one who is having a hard time finding a candidate to support based on the current choices available? While I can find something to support in almost every candidates purported platform, none of them offer enough substance for me to throw my support behind them wholeheartedly. Are these politicians truly the best that America has to offer? Is there anyone you would like to see announce their candidacy who has yet to do so? In your opinion, are their any politicians out there who are truly for the people? I don't care what their political affiliation is, as long as they have the best interests of America, and her citizens at heart.

To me there are two credible candidates, one from each party and I would love to see them split a ticket, Paul/Kucinich or Kucinich/Paul. All of the other candidates are career politicians with their own interests at heart first and the country's second. Paul and Kucinich seem to be the only two candidates who have the interest of the country and the people at the top of their agenda. Funny how they are mostly cast aside by their own parties and the media, almost as if they are entertainment for the rest of the candidates. We have our priorities so warped we ridicule people who actually seem dedicated to doing what they were elected to do.

I definately understand your concerns and for ahwile I had the same problem.. I'm glad you say that you don't care what their poltical affiliation is as long as they have the best interest for America, I wish more people thought like you. I have to say I never thought I'd vote republican.. but this canidate is someone I believe in sincerely. His name is Ron Paul... He is agianst the Iraq war, he wants lower taxes for the middle class and poor, he advocates a forgien policy for the United States where we trade and negoiate instead of fighing useless wars where our own innocent people die.. He voted against the amendment banning gay marriges, He voted against the Patriot Act.. He wants to restore democracy in the United States, instead of just having rich corporations benefit while the majority suffers... He is a man of his word.. just check his track record.. I have to say I'm impressed.. I have never seen a canidate with so much integerity..

I think Joe Biden and Bill Richardson are both great candidates with tons of experience and integrity.

Unfortunately the media just focuses on two or three front runners in each party, which does us all a big disservice.

No, it's a difficult decision so far on who to support. It's like they ran out of intelligent people... If you haven't ever seen the Movie Idiocracy you need to it's funny, and it's where our country is headed.

You have a full year to choose and weed through the candidates.

There's no hurry in selecting someone since many of them lose it long before the preliminaries take place.
