If you had the best military force and technology in the world would you saunter on into another country with it and let them see it up close and personal?

Hate to tell you but just because they re-deployed the cruise missile systems they based here in the 80's doesn't mean that they don't have ultimate control over our current 3 Trident American built submarines, our nuclear 'deterrent' and that our entire military is not (if needs be) at their beck and call in reality. We were a v. effective stop over and literally an air strip just this year alone for the illegally renditioned Muslims being taken to Guantanamo and supplies of weaponry to Israel.

Dummy, what do you think he has been doing for the last 6 years? Go count how many bases we have in Britain and how much political debt we have built with their leadership.

The other side to this question is why doesn't Prime Minister Brown use the special relationship to smack some sense into Pres Bush and his joke of an administration.
