I wanted to name the baby after the two grandmothers. So I'm using the father's mother's first name and my mom's middle name.

Patricia Suzanne?

it is alittle old sounding, but you can call her Pat or Suzie.

I like the name Suzanne more than Patricia, so I would have Suzanne Patricia instead. Better to have Suzzie than Pat as a nickname!!!
What about choosing a name you like as a first name than have your mothers' names as middle names.????
Also you might have more daughters later on, whose name are they going to have?

hope this helps

I like the name, but are you sure that you want to use the grandmother's names? Will one of the grandmother's be mad if their name was the middle name rather than the first name? I'm not trying to dissuade you from it, but some people get mad if you name a baby after one person, and not another. I'd ask the grandma's what they think.

I think Patricia Suzanne is pretty. I like Suzanne Patricia better, but it's not my child
If you love Patricia Suzanne, then it's the prefect name
I like using family names

That is very sweet and sentimental that you want to name after both the grandparents. I did something similar for the middle name. I took Beth out of Elizabeth from my mothers name and Ann from my mother in -law and made my daughters middle name Beth-Ann.
For something different how about Patrianne??

***Your daughter can have 2 middle names, and you could name her a first name of your own choice.
Congratulations on your baby!!!

I think it's a lovely name, and a wonderful tribute to the family members. I have definitely heard worse in today's day. I agree with most of the posts that you could use a great many nicknames from those names: Pat, Patty, Tricia (my favorite), Trisha, Suzie, Anne.

Congrats and best of luck on your expected bundle of joy!

Patrica Suzanne is my 70 year old great aunt's exact name.

Patrica is a very outdated name, the knick name would most likely be Pat.

I say you shorten the name to Trisha or Patrice Suzanne, it is just a more modern version.

Patrica is just a very unflattering name for a little girl.

I like Susannah Patrice better....because if you name her Patricia, she might get called Pat or Patsy, and I don't think that's very pretty. Susannah could be either Sue or Susie, and those are pretty cute. I think that's very nice that you want to name your daughter after both grandmas. Good luck on whatever you decide!

A nice name. :)

I'd prefer Susannah Patrice, but Patricia Suzanne is nice.

I love the idea of naming it after a relitive but maybe not for first names. Try using those names as the babys middle name. The names Kimberly,Grace and Alexia are really adorable names for babies this year!
