If the 1st day of your final menstrual era became into 2/29/2010 then your due date is 12/4/2010 and you're actually 13 weeks and six days that's 2.8 months. You calculate your months by using taking your weeks, subtracting 2 weeks, multiplying by using 7 days in the week, and dividing by using 29.5 days, the lunar month So, case in point, your due date = 40 weeks and 40 minus 2, circumstances 7, divided by using 29.fifty seven = 9 months.

Any time over 37 weeks is considered full term and "safe" to delever. Therfore most pregnancies are about 9 months long. In my area the drs won't let you get pased 42weeks, it's dangeruse for several different reasons to the baby and you. They will induce. Only %5 of women actually have their babies on their due dates. This is because most don't know when they concieved, or their LMP is off, so they didn't know when they were ovulating, so the due date is off a few days. Hope this helps

it averages out to 9 1/2 months, but the first 2 weeks are the week of your period and the week of ovualtion. When conception happens you are already considered 2 weeks pregnant.

technically 10 months, because it goes by the lunar calendar in which a month is 28 days...Not by our regular calendar in which months vary between 28 and 31 days
