Yes, I do! I also remember the 3 color film we put over the screen (blue, red, & green; for extra fun, turn it upside down) so we could have "color" tv, soda coolers-the bottles sat in chilled water, and you'd have to wipe off the bottle on your sleeve, or have it drip all over your front, my favorite was Pal orangeade. There was a chocolate candy called Ice Cubes-I don't know why that candy tasted cold, even on a hot day, comic books were 10 cents, Mad Magazine was 25 cents. Remember the Phantom?" the ghost who walks"? how about Terry and the Pirates? I still love Betty Boop, even though she was a little before my time, and I remember playing with lincoln logs. Couldn't miss American Bandstand. Wish I still had my original Mickey Mouse ears and Davy Crockett coonskin cap, and can't forget Soupy Sales and his gang- and who could forget the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans show and Andy's Gang? I've got a gang, You've got a gang, Everybody here's got a gang, But there's only one real gang for me-Good old Andy's gang!

sure to all.. how about the old red coke machines that gave you a bottled coke for 5 cents. 10 cent comic books, the stench about how twisted and mind bending comic books were to children (the censor burough sticking the approved stamp on the cover of comics), Beaman's Pepsin Chewing Gum. I remember the todo about the opening of the Pennsylvania Turnpike! (a real, 4 lane highway that was toll all the way!). The latest thing, a TV with a seven inch screen, a magnifier glass on the front (wow!) The endless broadcasting of a test pattern with the Indian Chief in a circle..constant tuning and adjusting the contrast, brightness, etc., loss of sync and the picture rolling. How fun! The Twist spelled the end of couple's dancing for about 50 years. Arthur Murray on TV, teaching new steps every week. Oh, spare me the good old days. Think how far we have come. !! And the amazing part of it is, so many things are so cheap today, especially electronics. Of course, back then, Gas was 12 cents a gallon, but then pay checks were not much more. The year I was born, the average house costs 3, 500.00. ('41), The endless broadcasting of the house anti communist crap by McCarthy in the very early 50's (boy, did he ruin more people's lives, and finally got what was coming to him...such a liar (some things do not change with time).

Remember hearing about Mutt and Jeff, never was much into cartoons. Never heard of Aunt Antenna.

Remember Bazooka bubble gum.

The heyday of Betty Boop was before my time, but I know her as a retro thing.

Elmer Fudd, Pepe LePew and Fracktured Flickers - Yes.

Have made Boston Baked Beans from scratch before.

Remember O Henry, Polar Bear, and Clark bars.

Don't remember peanuts with dinner mints, but never was much of a party person.

Remember those skate keys.

The dances you mention, I remember from TV; but, us party poopers don't dance much.

Yes, the mashed potato, the stroll, Chuckles, remember Hollywood candy bars, such as Butternut and Big Pay. I had a skate key. I remember what they called a church key, and a Zippo lighter. Ever do the Bunny Hop? That was fun especially going up the stairs, and down again. Not too many injuries !! LOL. A newer cartoon was Roger Ramjet.

I was an Empire Ranger,Saturday matinee was 3pence,saved all my half pennies from doing odd jobs to go to the cinema,it was a three hour show, and of course ended with the latest episode of Flash Gordon's trip to Mars,I think Flash was played by Buster Crabbe. How I hated Dr Ming. This was back in the 30s.

I remember everything except Mutt and Jeff Cartoons. I remember people talking about it, but for what ever reason, I don't recall watching it. Also,Fractured Flickers kind of rings a bell, but I couldn't carry on a conversation about it.
The rest OH Yes!!

Yes, all of them except Aunt Antenna. Why am I thinking it was Fractured Fairy Tales and not Fractured Flickers? The memories are all in there, it just takes some time to dig them out.

If you like Mutt and Jeff, you probably liked The Katzenjammer Kids, Barney Google, and Flash Gorden too.

Betty Boop was a bit before my time, but the rest is pretty familiar.

You should add "Fizzies" to your list too. (Actually, I think they recently brought them back)
