well, lets look at this situation: you still would have to pay taxes, whose land is your tent on, if it is you parents that's fine, they can send the mail to them and they would make sure that you received it. If you are piloting you need a license for that ,which means you need an address, and you have to turn in tax forms for your piloting, also with a motorcycle you need a license which means an address. Whenever you buy gas you pay taxes on the gas, if you use electric in your tent(which you more than probably wouldn't) you would have to pay for that. Are you in a place where you could live in your tent all the time or do you have cold winters like in the northern part of the states? No, I can't see you getting away without paying any taxes.

We have lived in a tent and we do ride a motorcycle, but we still pay taxes. Who would pay you for piloting and what would you pilot? A ship or a boat owner would have to write a cheque and take deductions if you are an employee. If it is your own plane or boat, you would have to have it registered (taxes) or certified (more taxes) moored (more taxes) or parked on an airfield (rent). Not sure what letters you are talking about. There is no way around taxes. They are as certain as death.

Eventually you will need to renew the license plate on your motor cycle. What ever address you use will be where they would send it.

FYI. If your income is small enough you probably won't pay tax anyway. After personal exemption and standard deduction you can make some where around $5500 without oweing tax.

If you are self employed they are relying on your honesty anyway. Unless you have tax with held they would not likely find you either. This is not the best course of action. Pay the tax and sleep well knowing you obeyed the law.

If you get money for the piloting, then yes, you'd pay income tax.

And to register the motorcycle, there might be some taxes involved.

And where are you pitching your tent? If you own the land, then there would be real estate taxes on it.

And depending on where you live, items you buy might have sales tax.

Income tax is TAXATION on INCOME EARNED your question is making statements in reference to ASSETS. How did you obtain those assets? by earning monies as a pilot which is services or labor. Therefore is TAXABLE income. and they would mail to GENERAL DELIVERY or last know address no worries you will eventually pop up on the grid somewhere. Cause if ya owe it they will charge you interest on it. You should declare your self and independent sovereign state but then again that brings about a whole different set of rules. Cash is King.
