Yes they do. I feel it's a good thing because they know what I like and they usually slip me a couple of freebies. We also have some good conversations.

No, not mine, I don't drink. If you are on a first name basis with your bartender, and you only drink occasionally , then that is a good thing, its always nice to have an acquaintance.

No, but a couple of the guys that work at the beer store do which is similar. Part of it is because I live in a small town. i think it is a good thing... they know what I want and also I do not need to bring ID.

you be surprise the memory that bartenders have ,cooks and bartenders. know to establish very height memory,because the lob dim ans that must remember, hundreds of name and recipes

Yeah soon as i walk in they just make my drink. Its a good thing because i tip good and i dont pay full price. Sometimes i get free drinks also. Plus you dont have to wait.

I don't have a specific pub to go often to so they don't know my name, that could be good, I mean the relationtip with the customers becomes better if you show them that you are trying to know them and the ambient would be different

that can be a very bad thing if you drink too much but a good thing if you get intoxicated and need a ride home
