102 air temp, 45% humidity= 117 w/heat index...yep Alabama summers suck the biggun

That is nasty. I'm here in San Antonio and it feels like 101 because of the heat index but the weather forcasters say that it is only 95. Why do weather forcasters always lie?

My thermometer has 101 right now, so it probably was about the same in the mid-day.
Of course if you are like northwest Arkansas, then we're not that far apart, near Joplin, MO
