Tough to answer this question without knowing what you like to do, but I would guess you can do anything you like. Being close in a suburb of S.L.C. provides you with plenty of dance clubs, bars, concerts, shopping, great mountain bike trails, hikes, skiing/snowboarding very close, etc. I wouldn't be too concerned about not being a Mormon, if you respect them, then they'll respect you and openly welcome you. I'm Mormon, but my wife isn't, and we live fine here. Enjoy it, it's a great place if you have an open mind and are self-motivated. Good luck.

West Jordan is a surburb of Salt Lake City. Not much special about West Jordan. But, quite a bit to do in the area, especially if you like outdoor activities. You can expect a few initial visits by missionaries who will want to "share a message with you." If you politely tell them you aren't interested they'll leave. But, others will return periodically. Don't expect to socialize with the Mormons to any great extent. But, Salt Lake County is about 40-45% non-Mormon.

There is alot of skiing and snowbording. In the summer there is hiking and water sports. In northern utah there is lagoon it is a themepark and in draper ikea. If you've ever been to a IN-IN-OUT there is a place like that in lehi. On sundays sleep all day most of the stuff is closed. There are lots of shopping centers in cottonwood next to salt lake city. Have fun.

Don't worry, my brother lives there and he is an Atheist/ex-mormon. I am sure there are Jack Mormons to (jack Mormons refers to Mormons that don't live there religion or go to church). There are also other churches today in the state of Utah then there was when i was growing up, unless you are an Atheist, like my brother.
