I took my driving test a while ago and failed for a manual test but can not get a manual car to practise in. If I decided to just do the automatic test instead is that possible? Would I need to take a different theory test?

If you pass in an automatic, then you can't drive a manual until you have passed in a manual.

The theory test is exactly the same for both manual & automatic cars & you will not need to take it again. However, if you pass your test in an automatic car you will only be able to drive a car with an auto box. A seperate test will need to be booked if you want to be able to drive a manual & this will probably mean sitting your theory again.

The theory test is just the same as it deals with your ability to drive on the highway no matter what kind of car you are driving but if you then take a driving test to drive an automatic, you can not drive a manual without taking a manual test. Do stick with it and take a manual test - they are much better to drive in the long run.

No difference on the theory test, but should you pass the practical test you would only be able to drive automatic cars.

in case you have bike provisional entitlement on your licence then you definately would desire to pass a cbt to validate it. in case you have not got bike entitlement then you definately will would desire to observe for provisional entitlement and nevertheless take a cbt.
