Most IQ tests work on a sliding scale where your true IQ is anywhere between 10 points above what you scored to 10 points below. The tests aren't supposed to say how intellegent you are but how much information you can absorb and retain.

Sure, the results are always exact. Are they an accurate measure of intelligence? Probably not so much, but if you score really high, chances are you're pretty smart; and if you score very low, chances are you're a little dim-witted. Emphasis on "chances are".

the WAIS test? Yes. Online tests..HELL NO

JP, sorry, but I know someone who had their hippocampus removed..that is where the memory is stored, they still kick @$$ on iq tests, even w/o much of a memory

it may give the result of a high IQ, but it doesnt insure one will know how to use it.

Not exactly, only an estimation of what your intelligence might be. No one knows your exact intelligence but yourself and no tests can prove that.

No - it is one tool for trying to get an idea of a person's capacity for learning, but it should never be used as the final, definitive assessment of a person's intellect.

yea i got a IQ test when i was in the 3rd grade it was 515 IQ

i duno im not thick but i dont think im super smart either i had an IQ of 149, Thats kinda too good for me i recon.

No. According to a couple that I have taken over the years...I am considered a genius. I know me...and I know that I am FAR from genius!!
