My terrier mix (all 15 lbs. of her) can count your fingers, if you hold up five she barks five times, ten she barks ten and so on, she also adds numbers if I ask her what is two plus two she barks four times. 1+1 she barks 2 times. She also subtracts using the same numbers. One that all the children like is when I ask her , What is 1-1 and she just sit there and stares up at me. Of course she does all the normal tricks like rolling over, dance a little jig, or play dead. It took a lot of time and treats to teach her, but since I'm retired I have plenty of time. I'm going to try to have her on U-Tube soon.

My Ragdoll cat Malkin (so we are Penguin fans) plays fetch with a little ball. He fetches it in his mouth and runs arund with it in his mouth....He is so cute. He stands up on his back legs and begs too.

My pet rabbit can pick up a small item, like a pencil, and toss it to one side. It's so cute. No one taught him - it's natural. When I have him on a lead in the garden he tosses small twigs out of his way to let him dig the soil.

Sometimes he stamps his foot for attention too.

Well, my cat doesn't do TRICKS, so to speak, but she does run headlong into walls.

And no, I didn't teach her that. I'm not cruel.

But my mother's cat can use the toilet. He even flushed it once. I don't think my mom taught him that, though.

My goldfish knows the thank you to beg for foodstuff from the terrific individual. in basic terms I feed him and he knows it is not particularly actual worth the attempt to beg somebody else. My previous cat used to roll over and play lifeless when I advised her: "canines rule the international".
