"Do you have kids?"
Not that having kids is THE thing that I'm looking for. It's their reaction to the topic of kids. If they pull out the wallet and start showing their pride well you know they adore their kids and are probably good active parents. If they roll their eyes and say, "Yes, which is why I have no time to do anything." I kind of put a red flag and kind of wait to see if this is just a particularly rough day or if they are resentful that having kids has taken away their "me" time. But those that pull out their hair and run screaming for the hills at the mention of children....... well sure, that pretty much gives me an answer. lol

I don't know if I have a particular question or questions that I ask, but I like to talk and SEE the kind of person they are...how they are with kids, for instance and in talking with people in general. It takes a little time to get know someone though...anyone can ACT good for a short time!

They go home and read your horoscope to see what kind of a person you are. Some of that stuff about personality trates is pretty acurate, but I don't put a lot of faith in it when it comes to trying to live by the zodiac signs.

Pretty quickly after meeting someone I ask about their parents. I can tell you good or bad from how they speak of them.

I don't really ask any questions. We have a conversation and I learn a lot about a person that way.

I ask if they are married and have kids usually first but i usually dont take long to sus a person out just in an ordinary conversation. xxx

I ask about their family. If they speak fondly about their mom, dad, husband, wife, children, pets etc. It's a pretty good indicator of the type of person they are.

I usually invite them for ice cream. A dislike for ice cream is an obvious character flaw.

i ask what they do for fun & their interests...you can really tell a lot from that...
if their weekends consist of drunken nights & waking up to strangers often..then I know those are not my type of people or even anybody that i would associate with..

I usually start off with "Hey nice to meet you." Then follow up with "Do you worship satan?"
