So i haven't gotten my period yet this year. Its always been weird ever since the first time, only sometimes does it regulate for about a month or two. I think the last time was around November/December. I remember it was a major holiday. It has been getting worse and worse, the last one waited for about 5 or 6 months. At least i had it around 3 times last year. But this year, its August and nothing. I'm really worried. The doctor gave me some tests, not pregnant, no thyroid problem. I'm pretty much obese. I have no sex drive whatsoever. I have ugly stretch marks all over my stomach. I get headaches all the time. Always thirtsy. Somethings wrong with me.

I don't know what could be wrong. Does anyone have any ideas? Please Help.

wow...sounds exactly like youre describing me, ive only had one period this year and have been checked for EVERYTHINg. diabetes blood preure thyroid..nothing but i was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome which causes people to have irregualr periods or none at all, it also causes weight gain and obesity it also puts u at a greater rick for diabetes...so u need to see a doctor...they keep telling me to get on birth control..i dont know why i havent yet im stupid but i know it works...u need to get this figured out though... you should write down all your questions and go see a gynocholoist and ask everything u need to. i need to follow my own advice too! good luck and please get this taken care of!

Overweight and underweight women have a hard time keeping their periods regular. The constant thirst sounds like type 2 diabetes, however, along with the weight gain (which I'm assuming because of the stretch marks.)
Here are the symptoms of diabetes:
Excessive thirst and appetite
Increased urination (sometimes as often as every hour)
Unusual weight loss or gain
Fatigue
Nausea, perhaps vomiting
Blurred vision
frequent vaginal infections and yeast infections
Dry mouth
Slow-healing sores or cuts
Itching skin, especially in the groin or vaginal area

You should call your doctor and tell him you're worried about having diabetes. I agree; something is wrong with you.

diabetes crossed my mind to but i wont go there as others have already, another possibility is hormone problems which could also be contributing to your low sex drive, your weigth may also be an issue. Im assuming its recent due to the stretchmarks?? but were you always overweight?? if you were not before then this problem has been going on for more than your weight problem.

I would go back to the regular doctor and tell them your symptoms and run some more tests and when you find out more tell your woman doctor and maybe you can find a solution because, this is not healthy.

Did your husband have 2 negative "sperm checks" after his vasectomy? If not, he may still be able to impregnate you. If he was checked out a-ok and the procedure was a success, you must go to the doctor. Putting it off can only make it worse if it is something serious. Go now and good luck!!

hi, i dont know much about everything you are talking about,
but the weight gain and constant thirstyness sounds like diabetes. have you ever gotten your sugar checked? my friend who has diabetes had a problem with the regularity of her periods also..
it just may be coincidental but who knows?
