Man AND Machine in Perfect harmony, the Lewis guy is darn good and the car he drives is just flaming excellent! Ron Dennis knew/knows what he was doing alright

Lewis Hamilton is a thoroughbred driver and Ron Dennis knew exactly when to let him out and trash the other drivers on the F1 circuits! so there you go! He is champion and thats this year!

Sory Three Putt, I dont agree with your that he has enetred F1 without doing any work, he has been a champion in Motorsport for the last 12 years man. He served his "apprenticeship" from the age of 8 years old, I mean what do you really want ? Filipe Massa started out in carting at 5 years of age. He is now in F1 as well.

Lali, everyone was coming off in the wet at the Nuremburgh ring, not just Lewis Hamilton, everyone was on wrong tyres for the conditions and they nearly all came off, I was watching that as well and it was the very wet conditions that
brought them all off nearly and the safety car wa called out! As you can tell I am a Lewis Hamilton Fan and wont hear any crap said against his driving hes not a new champion ,he has always been a champjon in all the various races he has been in since 1994! thats why he is with Maclaren now! God Bless ya Ron Dennis!

Hey Smudga, I thought someone would add the race element somewhere along the line, why cant he just be a good driver regardless of his race/colour and what his Father can do. The guy started out as hundreds of other race car hopefuls do and makes the grade and is slated by peopel because of his race, which by the way is not Black or white he is a mix of both and is really a more of a Caramel shade. Thats aside I dont see why there should be anything more to add other than that he has talent to drive an F1 car , be that Ferrari, Maclaren, Honda or whatever. As it happens Ron Dennis got a hold of him at a young age and has helped him to develope his "F1-talent"

Well, obviously there are drivers (apart from Alonso) who are jealous of Lewis.

Lewis is just a rookie in his first year in F1 and yet he has already won races and has had stellar and solid performances. On the other hand, there are drivers who have been in F1 for many years but they haven't achieved as much as Lewis has (for example: Ralf, Fisichella and Trulli) so it's obvious that they might envy him or have something against him.

Alonso IS terribly jealous of Lewis. It's bad enough when you're a two-time world champion outdone by a rookie and it's even worse when that rookie happens to be your teammate.

Hamilton is making history with every Grand Prix he's in. I don't remember a rookie having this much success. He was on the podium in all but 1 race and he leads the drivers in points. Not to mention how young this guy is.

F1 is a pretty competitive sport and if you have that much talent, it's no surprise people are jealous of you. But there has also got to be an equal amount of respect.

I think threeputt hit the nail pretty much on the head. Hamilton has been rated by all these people to be the next senna/schumacher, yet there is simply no evidence to prove this.
*He is in the best car one the grid- FACT
*He has been using bridgestone tires all his life, unlike Alonso who has been familiar with Michelins
*Its pretty obvious the team show more enthusiasm for Hamilton than they do for Alonso, which I suppose is natural considering they are an English team.
We all saw what happened at the Nurburgring when it was wet-He simply left his braking too late and locked up in a straight line, only to get hoisted back onto track by the crane! Not only this, he was allowed to go and pit for new tires when the regulations stated he was only allowed to go round the track at a sensible speed and JOIN THE BACK OF THE PACK BEHIND THE SAFETY CAR, not PIT FOR NEW TIRES AND HOLD EVERYONE UP. I think these are the main reasons why some people dislike Lewis.

Surely there are a number of drivers who are jealous of Lewis Hamilton.

He's a gifted driver I think, and he's been gifted with what has turned out to be the best possible car any rookie has ever had the good fortune to drive in their first year of Formula One, better even that Jacques Villeneuve had when he came along to drive for Williams in 1996.

I don't advocate jealousy, but I expect their is a good deal of it out there among Hamilton's F1 peers.

Never has a young unproven driver been given a ride with arguably (Ferrari another top tier team!) the best team in F1. Even the great Schumacher had to drive a Jordan then a 2nd rate Benetton for a few years! This is why I think the other drivers don't like him!

lewis replaced into the nuts x x am i able to easily say i think of drivers ought to be able to take there place in place on there very own driving skills (by no longer having to enable everyone previous in qualifying). you in many cases hear team orders asserting pull over for who's ever optimum the championship. properly hamilton is optimum the championship so why ought to he enable Alonso previous merely using fact he gained it final year. Hamilton is a very good rookie and that i think of he has shocked a lot extra human beings than envisioned. If hamilton could have been against "merely yet another team-mate" those "team orders" that Ron mentioned "he does no longer have" does no longer be a issue Lewis's dad took on 3 jobs (as a single father i think of, bert) using fact he observed how proficient his son replaced into. He hasn't come from a prosperous relatives

Born with a silver spoon to coin a phrase. He undoubtedly has the best car on the track, is racing for one of the best teams and has a certain amount of talent. I think any driver that's been on the scene for a few years or so would be jealous of what he has and of the seemingly preferential treatment he gets. I was shocked to see him hoisted back onto the track when he slid of a few races ago!

Far be it for me to be a conspiracy theorist but, it seems like something else is going on at Mclaren and, that's why this is such a big deal to the likes of Alonso, Raikonnen and others in the field. Quite what it is, I'm sure we'll never know but, I wouldn't be surprised if his dad has something to do with it and, dare I say it, a possible racial edge to it?

He incites jealously because all these British has-been, ex-F1 drivers drooled all over him and called him the best ever. He incites jealously not because he is better than anyone (he's not), but because he was supported at a young age by a big team and came into F1 with the fastest car.

F1 drivers usually pay their dues before they get to a top team and challenge for world titles. With all the technology, race simulators, huge testing budgets, wind tunnels, etc . . . it makes it easier for rookies to get into F1 without having to work their way up.

I think he is getting shot down and inciting jealousy cos he happened to start his 1st year in F1 just as McLaren came good.

Plus, he has shown the world constantly how talented he is! Outshining his 2 time World Champion teammate.

All driver compete against each other, so Lewis Hamilton is just one more there.

Let's see, there have been too many star rookies who where going to win everything and they didn't do anything.

Lucky he didn't find Schumacher, it wasn't easy to compete with the chrasher.
