i am thinking about baby names as i am pregnant and i posted a question a few minutes ago regarding baby names.

aside from andrew and shaun i can't think of any other tradtional irish or scottish names!!

i think it would be a nice idea to name my babies a tradtional name as i am half irish

I'm assuming you want boy's names since your examples were of only boy names. How about Keegan, Connor, Sean, Kiernan, Aidan, Liam, Cameron, Luke, Dylan, Ryan, or Patrick? Scottish - Glen, Gordon, Angus, Hamish, Alistair, Stewart, Aaron, Lewis, Nairn, Donald. Arthur, John, Rory

Ailsa, Tiree, Skye, Heather, Mary, Mhairi, Rhiannon, Isobel, Ishbell, Agnes

My names Heather and my youngest is called Skye, plus I'm Scottish!

You can type Scottish baby names in to your search engine and you'll find plenty of websites full of Sottish baby names, good luck.

I love Ailish, Eoife & Niamh for a girl. My new one was gonna be a Sean but shes a Isobel now! Callum, Colm, so may great names. My mums family are Irish, and I've got an aunt philomena & uncle aloiushus!

My sister's name is Irish - Niamh. She loves her name.
My name is Scottish - Shona. It's very common in Scotland, at college there were 3 Shona's in my class.
My younger brother has a Scottish name - Craig.
My older brother has an Irish name - Kieran.

How about Scott? That's my brother's name. Can't get any more Scottish than that. Brian, Bruce, Kevin, Wallace, Hugh, Glen.

I LOVE the name Brayden for a girl, and it's irish. There's also Cagney, and Keagan for boys, oh and i like Bridie too(for a girl). I think they're soo pretty. Just check out this website, i find it really useful, and interesting.
