I want to buy a long radiator, but need to come through the top bedroom of my house, rather than though the floor, can i hang it upside down?

ok, i will explain i little better; I am putting a radiator into the new conservatory, and because we only have one wall to put it on, the only place i can get a feed from is the radiator upstairs. so we were thinking of simply coming through the ceiling joists into the outside wall and hanging a 2 meter designer radiator, however the taps are at the bottom, so it means running pipes all the way down the wall. so i wanted to know if we could combat this and hang it upside down, so that the taps are closer to the top, where we will be coming through the wall.

With all due respect so many ask "Can I?" as you have; and my answer is often the same..."Certainly!"

Should you? LOL; absolutely not,,,unless it happens that you want a piece of Iron Art hanging from a ceiling.

Again, and with all due respect; perhaps you should study and understand the "mechanics" and proper function of a radiator.

Your question is a little vague. The actual rad. can't be inverted in position, however the pipes feeding it can come from above if that is what you mean, although it is normal to feed from, below.

In a word !!!NO!!!, it can explode because the safety valve is designed to be at the top.
