I have 2 tips for you, first get rid of what clothes you don't just love & look great in....now that you have more space for your clothes, just do a load of laundry as soon as you have a full load, then you only have to put away a small amount of things & you'll be more likely to do it because it won't take that much time!!

When it comes to a bedroom I always work the same way: Gather up all dirty clothes and make a pile in a hall close to the laundry room and start a load. Make my bed so that once I get laundry started I can throw the clothes on the bed and start folding/hanging. Throw away all trash, take any dirty dishes, if any, to the kitchen. Get rid of anything that isn't needed such as things that are not of value, $ or sentimental, that you absolutely don't use. Either throw away, sell, or donate. Keep a coin jar because you most likely will find change while cleaning and you can save it :) It always helps me to stick to a system that way I don't feel overwhelmed. Just keep the laundry going. Don't give that washer a break!

I agree with having your hangers for the hanging items with you when you are doing your laundry, this way you can hang them right on the hanger, and put them right in your closet.
For folded clothes, I try and sort them out according to drawer as I fold them. This way when I go to put them away, it goes much faster for me instead of going back and forth from drawer to drawer (I have two areas with drawers across the room from each other).
As for the last part of your question, some things should be hung up otherwise they will be wrinkled when they come out of the drawers - obvious things like dresses, blouses, slacks. If you can do the laundry then bring it into your room and put it away, right away, that might keep you from leaving them in a pile.

When i do laundry,I hang it up as it comes out of dryer and then the rest is folded I put it away. Then you just hang laundry one time instead of 2 times.

Hanging them as soon as they come out of the dryer is best. I f you have clothes that you can't hang then you definitely need a dresser.
