i was gonna try out for cheerleading and i says you have to know how to do a right and left hurdle and a front hurdle. is that just the thing u do before a roundoff or a roundoff backhandspring. like a little jump cuz i wanna learn how to do one. thanks in advance♥♥♥

They are asking you to perform jumps (although yes you do do a hurdle skip before a round off).

no. a hurdle is a kind of jump. A front hurdle is when one of your leg is bent back and what straight.

i think you mean a "hurdler". its a jump. its kinda hard to explain, but ill do my best!
ok, for a right hurdler, you turn to the side (where your left side is facing the judges). keep your right leg straight and bend your left leg (like your trying to kick your butt). have your hands in candlesticks trying to touch your toes on the right leg.
for a left hurdler, its the same thing except you turn to the other side and you kick your left leg up

a hurdle is a type of flip we do sometimes in a pyramid.
