Does anybody actually like that song "Born in the USA?" Seriously, it is like the most annoying POS song ever and yet you hear it all the time.
On the 4th of July it's especially overplayed, and if anybody actually paid attention to the words its supposedly a very un-patriotic song.
This song is on my list of most annoying songs ever and I've never met anybody who likes it. Do any of you like it? I say we ban it =P

I like it, but I was like 15 when song came out and Bruce was the man at that time. As far as beginning un-patriotic, I think he's just being honest about things that happened- Vietnam was hard!
However, I totally respect you're view and agree it is overplayed without people realizing true meaning.

that song reminds me that someone is showing off to be born in the USA. Just like people put up bumper stickers of United States flags to remind us that we're in the US. Ok don't listen to me hehehe I'm just talking

I understand how you feel; however, I have never taken a moment to actually break down the lyrics. I find Springsteen's voice to be very powerful, and captivating on this piece, and it stays with me, when I hear it.
I don't love it, and I don't dislike it, either.
