After all you begged to be in, since you are in you are nothing but troublemaker. De Gaulle should have vetoed you once more.
- Allied and loya to the USA instead of EU,
- You don't want euro,
- You still drive on the left.

Why don't you quit EU? I mean it seriously. Air will be fresher when European countries will be themselves.

By the way I am not hostile about the UK. I am living in your country and so far am happy with it.

I can't find anyone who voted to join and most Brits want out. The EU is nothing but a pain to us. We saved Germany and France twice in world wars and they have never forgiven us for it. Now they are getting their own back on us. It's time we pulled out and free traded with the world, our living costs would be halved over night. The trouble is the super rich are getting richer through it so will pressure to stay.

Have you any idea what it would cost to change driving to the right? The EU Commission is rife with fraud. The accounts have failed to be signed off for twelve years running. I wish De Gaulle was still around to veto the UK.

The Average Britain would like nothing more than to leave the EU,The amount of interference in way of rules/regulations and laws that we have to put up with went past a joke a decade ago.

But,the will of the people is totally ignored by those bunch of self-serving idiots that we call Members of Parliament, hence we are not going to get a referendum on that new Treaty just signed.

The rest of Europe might well find the idea of living under a un-elected and faceless bureaucratic nightmare in Brussels appealing,That doesnt appeal to Brits.

The EU enforced Charter of Human Rights forced onto Britain, has done nothing except emasculate our own laws when fighting terrorists and allows rapists to demand pornography in jail...as their human rights, prevent us from kicking out dangerous immigrants....because its against their human rights etc bloody etc.

Loyalty to Europe ?

Have a look at the NATO led mission in Afghanistan, and you have a prefect example of why the Brits dont exactly get all excited about our Euro partners. The Brits are fighting in the largest and most dangerous areas of the mission, with the danes and swedes providing excellent support,Other Nato countries have REFUSED to send troops to help with the fighting...happy to take the glory, not prepared to take the risk.

The Polish and Czech forces are also providing excellent troops....not much enthusiasm from Germany,France etc etc.

The Euro

Why the heck would we want that soulless money, the British Pound is strong and its just another aspect that riles the Brits...your not a proper European unless you have the Euro......Well guess what,we are NOT Europeans,we are British.

Driving on the left

This originates from when people still had some courage and fighting spirit in them, most people were right handed,so you travelled on the left-hand side of the road....in case you were attacked from a passing stranger you could draw your sword and immediately fight back, rather than being wrong handed......some nations lost their will to fight sooner than others so,decided to ride/drive on the right.

For every European Supporter in Britain,i bet you would find another 20 people who werent interested in Europe or actually dislike it.

The reason why we do not get out is that senior politicians can get a nice cushy number (job) when they are kicked out of parliament or usually resign so they can take up the job.
Does the name Neil Kinnock mean anything to you. He who was going to stop corruption in the EU but joined the club. need I say more?

The EU needs England and England needs the EU...just the same as all of the countries in the EU

Am I the only one to see the irony in this question? It is because the UK is a part of the EU that you are able to move freely around Europe, live and work wherever you choose. If you don't want the UK to be a part of the EU then start making a difference right now by leaving Britain.

Yes why don't we.............many of us want no part of the corrupt European Union.Unfortunately we have a Government too cowardly to offer the British a referendum on whether we should stay in or get out!A Prime Minister that cannot wait to see the destruction of England,he'd probably choke on the word England, he see's the EU as a chance to do it!
The cowardly, treacherous and corrupt MPs will continue to take us down the EU road. YES WE SHOULD LEAVE!!Perhaps you would recommend that to our government, our listening Prime Minister, who has selective hearing,so that we do not bind and betray future generations?

UK has closer ties with the US and not with EU countries. Thus, UK has favored the requests of the US rather than the EU.

I wish we could leave the EU. It costs us too much money and we have to keep our borders open to ever so nice immigrants like you. What`s so good about driving on the right. There you go- that`s something you have in common with the yanks. Why didn`t you go there- oh that`s right they wouldn`t have you. There was a vote in the seventies in which the politicians lied to our parents and said we would be better off. Ha. You make no sense. Why do you live here if you hate it.

Because of all the jobs, trade, freedoms and peace that we owe to being in the EU. And because if we pulled out, the kind of politician who hopes to get in by playing up to racists with anti-EU rhetoric would no longer have that dog-whistle to blow.
