Clinton Administration stopped the planned attack to blow up the US Embassy in Albania
-- Tried to kill Osama bin Laden and disrupt Al Qaeda through preemptive strikes (efforts denounced by the G.O.P.).
-- Brought perpetrators of first World Trade Center bombing and CIA killings to justice.
-- Did not blame Bush I administration for first World Trade Center bombing even though it occurred 38 days after Bush left office. Instead, worked hard, even obsessively -- and successfully -- to stop future terrorist attacks.
--Named the Hart-Rudman commission to report on nature of terrorist threats and major steps to be taken to combat terrorism.

I agree 100% those days were great.

Also ignore all the morons who criticize him, their facts are completely screwed up and misleading and in most cases just wrong. They are just anti-liberal trolls who have nothing better to do than make Clinton look bad by making up silly facts.

So in conclusion, Clinton was a great president and had a fantastic administration and some republicans are idiots.

Look at all the Bush groupies trying to dis-credit Clintons accomplishments.

Brian: More troops died under Clinton? I search all over the web and couldn't find ONE piece of information supporting your claim. How could over 3200 soldiers die under Clinton and not one website has any information? You're lying. Big shocker.

Scubadog: Clinton did not ignore any of those events. He took action to prevent them from occurring again. You might have to venture a little further then Fox News to learn about what actions Clinton took. It's common knowledge. We were attacked on 9/11 and Bush has completely ignored it. I don't hear you complaining about that. Since 9/11, he's done nothing.

Keep in mind, Clinton wasn't in office for more then 3 months when the first WTC occur ed. I place some of that blame on the Bush Sr.. Judging by your ignorance I would assume you blame Clinton for 9/11, but not Bush Sr. for the first WTC attack. Whatever you need to say to justify your love for the worst president in the history of the country and one of the most hated people in the world.

Scubadog, you know nothing.

Clinton was a great president and will always be remembered as a great president. Sure beats the hell out of the crackhead we have running the country now.

Clinton didn't create peace and prosperity. He inherited them. And he left us with a recession and terrorists planning a huge attack against us. Hardly a great record.

The country is currently very prosperous, now that it's recovered from the Clinton recession that Bush inherited. I do wish the deficit wasn't as big as it is, but if the Democrats had their way, they'd spend even more, and the deficit would be even bigger.

you do realize that we didnt have any of those dont you?

There was no peace in the 90s. Al Qaeda was at war with us. but Bill Clinton never fought back. Because of his inactions thousands died. You can call that peace if you want, but i call it an illusion of peace.

There was no prosperity. Bill Clinton left us with a recession. There was intense corporate corruption under the Clinton administration. Remember Enron? World Com? All happened under Bill. Heck he was complicit with some of it.

Budget surplus? there never was one. It was a PROJECTED budget surplus. That means it only existed on paper. we would never have seen the surplus for another 10 years. But even then it was impossible because the second Clinton lead us into a recession, the projected income never would have been made.

Even if it had been, Surpluses are supposed to go away. Either given back to the people or spent. The government is irresponsible if it keeps our money when they dont need it.

I miss the times when the biggest scandal to rock washington was a BJ. Instead now we have a culture of corruption, deficit spending, lost world presitge, lower inflation adjusted wages, more poverty, and more terrorism.

Peace (troops in Haiti, Bosnia, Serbia. Bombing Iraq...all without U.N. approval).

Prosperity (tech stock crash, millions of people lost all their money)

Surpluses (because of Reagan tax cuts as economies on a national lever run in 8 to 9 year periods).

Let's not forget him signing NAFTA and CAFTA, and committing us to the WTO. Because of that unless we buy a certain amount of goods from foreign countries (China, Mexico...etc) we can and will be sued by those countries and the WTO will make sure they win.

No bid contracts with Haliburton (but I forget, if it's a Dem giving the no bid contracts Haliburton is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but if a Republican is in office they are evil).

Giving the RIAA (who isn't even a government agency) the right to enter anybodies house and seize their computer and prosecute them if they just THINK that the person MIGHT have downloaded a song from the internet.

Yup. those were the good old days *gag*.

peace - world trade center 93 bombing - did nothing

how about Kosovo - we still have troops there

he bombed iraq - surrendered in somalia - did nothing about our embassies being bombed in saudi arabia and still did nothing after the cole was attacked.

budget surplus - PROJECTED - it was an estimate - which after 9/11 have rightfully been used in the defense of our country

Prosperity? - he raised taxes in 93 - which was largely attributed to the republicans 94 sweep of congress - and the bull market of the 90s began under regan

thanks for playing!
