Yes there are.

Mainly you will see species of the same sex in sexual acts but it is more of a social thing rather than pleasure/reproduction thing. Bonobos are a good example of that.

However there are many cases of same sex relations for a pleasure/reproduction (of course no babies from that one) stand point as well. Most cases can be found in domestic animals or captive populations since they are observed more often than wild (still happens in the wild).

Personally I have seen it in a few farm animals (cattle), manatees and non-human primates.

GAY ANIMALS

There is homo sexual acrtivity amongst just about all animals ,as well as fish ,even some insects,

Sexuality is the strongest force in nature along with self preservation ,

This is an evolutionary concept that is build in ,to ensure that the species survives and even cross breeds to adapt to changing environment .

So it is easier to try and have sex with anything .than to limit the force to specific gender.

A bee will try to mate with a pebble if the queen is indisposed

A fish will asume the markings of a female so that it can swim through a cloud of sperm(very kinky)

Male dogs on top of others
Cows jump on top of cows
Bulls jump on top of bulls

Bi or same sexuality is far more common in Nature than it is with Humans who are restricted and affected by peer pressure and social attitudes .

Well I grew up on a farm, and the cattle we had would pretty much mate with each other all of the time, and it made no difference as to gender.

Have also witnessed dogs doing the same. Used to have a dog, who would mate with almost anything, even the cat.

yes and they are finding out it happens more than they originally thought. Some mate for life with a same sex mate. Some have sex with the same sex for a while and then mate with a female.......the animal kingdom finally spiced up its sex life!!
