Any ideas on a good place to watch the Aug. 2007 Meteor showers near San Jose, California?

We're looking to get outside San Jose to watch the Perseids, but not so far as to be prohibitive. Any good ideas on places to go?

Hi. Any place with a good eastern view in a dark (or near dark) site will do. Just looking is better than not looking.
