She died before they went out for a meal killed by the mother or Father and disposed of probably in the sea. All this publicity and jetting round the world is a hype to divert attention from them. They are relishing all this free publicity and around te world trips. They will be charged in due course for the murder of their child

Gerry McCann, if you believe that he visually checked on the children. The police don't seem to think he did.
Otherwise, there are 2.5 missing hours between the last time an independent witness saw the girl alive (when they took her out of the creche) and the time the parents went to dinner.
Dave - the children were apparently collected from the creche at 5.30 and taken to the apartment. The parents arrived at the tapas bar around 8.00pm. And the group claims Gerry McCann left the table once (they variously claim at 9.00, 9.15, 9.25, 9.30 and 9.45 - the police say it was 9.05, but the wait staff say not at all. He may have gone to the toilet, who knows. Anyway, that's 2.5 hours when the parents were not seen by any independent witnesses, even being conservative that's a two hour period when a lot could have happened. If the police (Portuguese and British) didn't think so, they would not have impounded the McCanns' rental car to take forensic samples (which are still at the lab).

Lesroys - Unless Im misreading your answer, the McCanns put their children to sleep around 6, so presumably the earliest anyone could have seen them was say 5:30, then no-one except Kate and Gerry definitively saw the children (apparently the other members in the group merely listened in on the children rather than enter the apartment)
That means its possible there was a good 4 and half hours between the last independent confirmed sighting of Madeleine and when the alarm was raised.
A lot can happen in 4 and a half hours.

people think;; nobody else but the mccanns seen maddie alive that night i know the JURY is out on there behaviour but what if she was taken from her apartment an in her sleep how frightening is that ? from an ordinary joe soap of a parent who takes her kids on hols an sometimes lets her guard down who are we to condenm, just because her parents are doctors doe's not mean they are murderers no i am not a doctor , but just an ordinary mam who can,t figure out why so much hate is put on the mccanns at the moment an i know that the shift was bound to come but honestly as parents do we all not sometimes make mistakes when it comes to lookin after them an i do hope that maddie is found alive .

What sort of state would they have turned up at the tapas bar in if they killed their child and got rid of her body. If the waiters were so observant as to know if any of the party left the table they would have observed the emotional state of the McCanns.
We then come to the friends who apparently all conspired in this. I can just imagine, by the way we killed our daughter and have got rid of the body, please don't tell anyone.

Apparently nobody knows and the McCanns refused to answer the Portuguese journalist when she asked if it had been Gerry or Kate. I found that refusal quite weird...

If ,as Lesroys says the kids were collected from the creche at 5.30pm and then they were put to bed at 6pm ,Gerry and Kate didn't spend much time with them did they ?
