as much as I'd like to use him as a lesson that we need to show appreciation to those of us working their butt off for us if we think their so valuable to us. arnold's motivation wasn't personal greed or ambition it was seeing all those less qualified and performing under him get passed over him. any of us today going through this at work and seek employment elsewhere can put ourselves in arnold's shoes, I have to remember that instead of being viewed as a loyal subject the british treated him like crap after the war, so the answer as always must be loyalty once we've pledged it.

I view him in a very simple way...I tilt my head down and look at the weeds growing on his grave.
That was a long time ago friend and while his actions are not forgotten by history, I could care less what he did or why. The outcome of the war for independence would have been the same with or without him.
