There was a television show in the very early eighties (late seventies?) With Gil Gerard as Buck Rogers. I don't know if there was more than one season, but in the later episodes there was a character named Hawk that was supposed to be evolved from birds. His people were hunted down and destroyed (I don't know why). He was the last of his species - his mate was killed the first episode he appears in - however there were rumors among his people when he was young, that there might be others like them somewhere else in the universe. ( When they fled their attackers they were forced to seperate into small bands in an attempt to survive.)
I would like to know the name of the actor who played Hawk in the series. Any information you may have would be appreciated!!!

he was played by an actor by the name of Thom Christopher.
