Feeling groovy!!!!! Gosh that brings back memories, I was in 6th grade when I heard it first! Don't care if its a gay song or what, still love it!

who cares if it's a gay song now... actually that's quite a sad statement, if men cannot feel good about themselves without labeling it gay.
Feelin' Groovy became a by-word for a lot of us at the time it came out. there was no issue to it ( unlike some of S&G's other amazingly poignant songs), just fun. It's nice to enjoy some fun once in a while, isn't it?
got no place to go, no promises to keep, I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep. Let the morning time drop all its petals on me.
life i love you all is groovy.
And besides, the use of the word groovy in daily idiomatic language owes its entire existence to this one song. Yeah, that dates me pretty squarely. My own kids laugh " what kind of a word is that?!?" but the words and phrases that this generation uses will also undergo that transformation in another few years, too. such is life.
Pretty groovy, when you stop and think about it.
peace, man.
