A co-worker comes by my office and sees pictures of my kids, wife and me. First she asks if the kids are my nephew/niece...I answer "no, those are my kids". Its clear as day that those are my kids. Then see stares at my wife and says "your wife is pretty". Is there any hidden meanings behind her words. Background information: She came up to me and introduced herself and later I find out that she is married and has a son. Also, this is like the 3rd woman to look at my pictures and say nothing about my kids but seem more interested in how my wife looks. WTF???

I found nothing whatsoever unusual in what the woman said. "Your wife is pretty" is cause for a "WTF"??? The correct response is not, WTF, it's, "Thank you, I think so too."

Well I would almost take it as a compliment. Perhaps you are just so good looking and the girls are interested that they feel they have to compare themselves to your wife. As for the kids, I am sure they are more worried about the fact you have a wife. The next time she comes by and says anything about your wife being pretty, just say, "Thank you, I know she is." I really don't think this is a big deal, in fact I think you are very lucky to have such a beautiful family.

Just say "I am a happily married man and those are my kids and I would never do anything to harm them, nor would I appreciate it if anyone asked me to". Even a dunce can get that. And if you have anything to do with hiring and firing.. it should probably be made a condition, signed and notarized, that no one is the workplace is to date anyone else in the office, as each person is hired. Get the picture of your wife blown up to eight times the size it is now and hang it right behind and just above your head on the wall. Have it done professionally and beautifully. Place strategically around your office the old valentines your wife has given you over the years ..maybe even get them framed too.
My father is a wealthy man and VERY married to my mother. He loves her truly and completely. If she died I believe he would too soon after. Just behind him, on his office wall, there is a portrait of my mom from, I don't know for sure, but about twenty years ago, and she is beautiful. People still are happy to stare at her now. But that isn't the real point. It's her heart people love. My dad made some mistakes over the years and she forgave him. I think what made the difference for them is that my father is never afraid to apologize to everyone his mistakes affect.. us.. our mother, their friends, his employees, even people in our church. He said he does that so that if there is a next time he wants to make the same mistake, he knows his shame will be doubled and an apology would be unbelieved, and so the mistake goes undone.

Sounds like you're a good looking man and these women are jealous of your wife. You must have a very attractive family and it's hard for some people to except (especially if they are in a bad relationship with their family).
Don't let these negative people bring you down.

That's a typical female thing.
We like to compare and well just be nosey!
Sometimes women picture their selves w/ a co-worker.
It doesn't mean anything really just that they could see that guy with them. It's part of nature in certain people.
I wouldn't assume anything right now unless she does more "flirty" things.

this woman is looking for something.just ignore her or politely ask her why shes so interested in your family photos..don't lead her on in any way and if she seems to be trying to come onto you just come out and tell her your happily married and you love your family and your not interested in her...if she doesn't get the message then go to your boss or someone you trust at work and tell them about the situation and see what they can offer as a solution

Sounds like these girls are into you then they notice the pic so they have to say something so it doesnt seem like they came in your office to flirt.
Is your wife a million times more beautiful then these women?

I read nothing into this......they are interested in your family. Just say thanks and be proud that your wife is a beautiful lady.
Make sure you let your wife know how beautiful you (and everyone else) thinks she is.........the compliment will go a long way!
