sorry, not that simple!! you have to measure the base of the cot or if you have the old mattress, it may have the size on it.contintental isnt really a size, proper measurements are best.mamas and papas for instance, have 4 different sizes so worth checking.wee tip... if you just have a cot, not a cot-bed then dont waste money buying a spring one.deluxe foam is perfect for a cot, as you only use it fof 1 to 2 years then throw it away.

Nopes, all different sizes, and you shouldn't have a gap any bigger than 1cm i think around the edge so the baby can't hurt itself. Get ur mother in law to measure the cot and take the measurements into town with you. The shop assistants will be able to tell you which matress size is best

Hi
NO and if you buy one and its too small it could be a danger trap for your baby,
There is not supposedto be any gaps at the side where baby could get his/her face jammed and suffocate.
Even the tiniest gap is a danger to a newborn baby in a cot.
Wait and measure and buy one when you get to your mother-in-laws.
Be safe not sorry.

No.
You have standard and continental matresses.
Check which cot you have, ours was continental size.
