Why are some of you so hostile to the idea of circumventing speed cameras? Don't you understand that their purpose is to raise revenue for the government. It's another form of taxation. They don't deter people from speeding. And what about radar detectors and laser detectors. Those are legal and they circumvent law enforcement, right? Hey toneykuhnz, if you are really a cop, don't you realize that these cameras are replacing you. Don't you realize that governments can generate much more revenue by not hiring donut eating cops like you and using these cameras? Who's the moron? I'm surprised your cop union allows these. I know a camera couldn't replace me!

Mythbusters on Discovery Chanel did a special on this. Nothing could beat a speed camera, even a car going 250 mph. The sprays, plastics, and coverings actually made it easier to read. Check it out in reruns.

This answer is for uk customers in trouble-free terms, do no longer understand approximately different places interior the international. It relies upon the place the digital camera is sited. If the digital camera is on the left hand factor and its lens is dealing with far off from you as you mindset, then that's going to take your rear quantity plate, as do pink easy/speed cameras. some cameras will take the front quantity plate, whether it quite is sited on left hand of street and lens dealing with you as you mindset. a million year left for a sparkling licence :o(

No you can't; and those sprays are just scams (they sell them because they know you can't go to the police to complain after they refuse to give your money back).

The only way would be to cover the tag (with anything, even with those clear anti-camera plastics); BUT then you would be stop and arrested and your car confiscated by any police officer.

Yes, there is an overlay that will only permit viewing from a tight angle which the cameras can't handle! Just smear some grease on the plate, and if the donut eating jerk as something to say then tell him It's dirty what do want from me!

Well I have seen a special license plate holder with slanted glass covering the license plate so that cameras and other things can not read your license plate number. However disguising your license plate for that is kinda illegal isn't it?

Ever seen those idiots driving around with colored plastic over their plates? That'd be those. They're illegal. Stop speeding through intersections and you'll be fine, otherwise I hope you get pulled over for screwing with your plates to try and get out of a ticket...

You can send everything the DMV has ever given you back to them and sever your contract with them.

Then the police subsidiary of the government corporation will have no jurisdiction over you.
