It's a front that he's trying to put up, attempting to sell himself as a "goody-goody" to the public. He may be fooling some people, but he doesn't fool me.
True Christians quietly live their lives in a Christ-like way. The ones that aren't draw attention to themselves by proclaiming to be morally superior to everyone else.
