If you are trying to impress people with your erudition/knowledge ,you have failed miserably on two levels for the term Utopian Socialism/Socialist was the term/phrase used to describe the socialist movement in the early 19th century .
In fact the original Utopian Socialists were CLERICS who were so revolted by the horrors of the industrial revolution they started this movement to protect/help workers.
So this being the case ,their is NO BLOODY difference between what is refered to as DEMOCRATIC or CHRISTIAN socialists and Utopian socialists.
It was Karl Marx who in fact decades later attached the word "Utopian" to these original socialists and any fool including YOU ,must realize that just because Marx called them Utopian in no way changes the origins of the movement which was DEMOCRATIC RELIGIOUS BASED SOCIALISM.
Today this small Utopian Socialist movement has spread worldwide and includes most of the DEMOCRATIC governments of western Europe to Canada,Australia and many other places.
Who do I support .Both of course because they are one and the same which is a DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM.
With it's massive SOCIALIST programs/laws such as Social Security ,Medicare and soon Universal Health Care, the US is at last well on it;s way to Utopia with it's UTOPIAN DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISTIC PROGRAMS.

Hmmmm, I don't like nationalists and I don't like religion mixed into government. Both have been very volatile in the past (Nazi Germany as a nationalist state, and pretty much any theocracy as a religious state). A secular government would be good, as long as if it was not an atheist government. I don't believe in God, but I'm not going to restrict other from believing it. The term 'utopia' literally means nowhere, but by definition it is a perfect society. Due to the subjectivity of perfection, a utopian society could be anything. I guess from your choices, I would support a secularist utopian socialist government.

Haha!
Neither, but if I am absolutely forced to make a choice I'll pick the Secularist Utopian Socialists since theyve not been the ones screwing things up for 8 years. If the only two options are going to screw things up, at least pick the ones that will do it differently for awhile.
Luckily we can vote third party! That way we dont have to support the oppressive federal gov'ts both sides promote and support the businesses that create our politicians these days.

Gingrich is only as radical. Gingrich ain't even a real Republicans, he's your well-known great government loving Neoconservative hiding in the back of the Republican celebration. that is extremely marvelous how the two events ramp up and alter into experts in politics while they are in the minority, because of the fact that is all it extremely is. Politics is often politics, Gingrich only cares approximately having his very own version of huge government -- and while human beings like him are in skill you will no longer pay attention a peep from those so noted as "limited government" advocates.
