do you have any ideas on how I can take control on the atmosphere and make it a little bit cooler?.... Living in West Texas isn't the best idea if you don't like hot weather.

You could get a potato gun and shoot ice balls into the sky.
Watch out when they come back down tho. They hurt like a mofo.

I live in Washington state. Supposed to get up around 72 today and the next day.
Poor you!
I hate the heat. I'd rather it be too cold. I can always put more clothes on, but I can only take so many off, and when you are standing buck-naked in your living room and you're still too hot, you're screwed.
Try ice cubes/chips and frozen kool-aid (if you only let it half-freeze it'll be like a slurpee!). Take cool shower and don't exercise more than you have to. Try to plan meals that don't involve the oven or stove (or eat out).
That's about the best i can do to help you cool down . . . besides telling you to move up here lol

Buy a mister kit. Ya hang it around a patio or porch roof, and hook it up to a hose, it makes real fine mist, and drops the temp in that area by about 30 degrees or more. they're pretty cheap, about $40....check online....

umm stay inside or go for a nice long swim.
o and eat a lotta ice cream!

Come on over to Tennessee our temp yesterday was 105. Heat index was almost 110.
