Because what they REALLY want to say is probably not suitable to say in public.

Plus, they probably have kids and realized that screaming and other mehods don't work. Saying "That's unacceptable" is like saying "Don't do that anymore or you WILL pay ...somehow...some way."

Then, since it works on their kids, they use it on you!!

Only white women? Do you really hang around them long enough to know what they say every two sentences? You wouldnt be exaggerating a tad-would you? See-I'm a middle aged white lady and I havent used that word yet.

I have never heard other middle aged white women say this. My wife does but only when it has something to do with me.

chances are because whatever they are talking about is unacceptable. Just because something is "ok" does not mean it is of acceptable standards.
