just tried to open a sellers account on ebay , using my card, but error message is coming up saying - unable to process information,please contact customer support.
does anyone know why this is,my card is fine i have called my bank to confirm.

Payment is not done on Ebay, but on Paypal.
Are you sure it is a legitimate site you are using ? U don't state the address of thespecific EBAY you are trying to use (many round world)
Have you contacted the support of the payment service you try to sign up with ?

There could be a few reasons why.
You're card may not be registered on Paypal
Your card maybe expired

your card information and mailing address information have to be the same on paypal and ebay or they won't match up. also if you have your card registered to another address its likely that paypal and ebay won't sync up either.

it could be the way you put in the number, some sites like spaces some like the numbers all together.
What sort of card are you trying to use? they dont accept them all.

call the customer support as it suggests.
have you put spaces between each 4 digits?

your address how to match up in who the card is registered to it has to match exactly. if one little detail is incorrect then the card is rejected.
