I sgave my head everyday. I like it and I kind of think that a woman who is confident enough to shave her head would look somewhat mysterious as well as sexy. SO I say you go girl, shave it.

its an interesting thought. But remember its just a whim. I'll bet all the tea in china that you'll look in the mirror and scream till the police come. Yea it might be cool for a day, but hair doesnt grow back that quickly, especially if your a woman with long hair. (if you were a man i would say go for it as it would only take a month or 2 to grow back)

you don't have to go completely bald for it to feel bald after having long hair. You could cut it really short like 2 inches or so and feel bald. Then it won't be as extreme. If you aren't satisfied then you could shave it bald and it won't be such a shock to people or yourself because it was really short before-hand

Well for a woman, it sure doesn't enhance ones' looks. But
if you wore a scarf around your head, maybe no one would
notice? Well you could start a whole new trend by shaving
rows across from your forehead to your neckline. That hasn't
been done yet. It would give all new meaning to the Corn Row
trend from years back. They could call it the Zebra look or
something. LOL

Do it for a charity fundraiser. You said you went through Chemotherapy. You must have been sick - go to that hospital or support group and get involved in their fundraiser. Get sponsor ship.

On a personal level, give it a lot of thought before you commit.

My friend shaved her head a little over a year ago, and she only did it for a $5 bet, her hair grew back, and it was something that she can say she did, and she took it and handled it like a pro, I think that if you want to do it, you should do it, it will always grow back, and if it really means something to you then you shouldn't regret not doing it, so go for it!

Well, depends, if you want to look somewhat like Ms. Spears then sure. But if you just want the feeling again think back to when you were bald. Did you like the feeling then? If you did then why not? But if you didn't care much for it then I wouldn't. Good luck with whatever you choose though!

IF this is really true then why don't you just grow your hair long & then get it cut to donate to locks of love. If this is true, you would KNOW how much of a need there is for human hair to make wigs for people with cancer that are going through chemo & have lost their hair.

unless you look like a Star Trek extra when you're bald, why the heck not?

at the end of the day, the only person who has to like it is YOU, and if your friends and family are TRUE they will understand and accept it...

and if they don't, just stick your tongue out and tell them you're trying to be like Mike... bound to be some Bulls fans in the bunch...

I don't see anything wrong with it. My mom said she didn't care what I did with my hair when I was younger because no matter what it will always grow back. It will be hard to deal with though if you go for it and regret it... make sure it's really what you want before we do it. I see nothing wrong with it.
