Yasmin & bloating?

Is Yasmin (bc) supposed to make you bloated? I'm bloated and have not had a bowel movement since Tuesday! and I've gained 2 lbs already since last Thursday when I started on it! Right now I'm having very unbearable sharp pains in my left side. I'm at work right....what should I do?

Yes, Yasmin can cause some women to be bloated when they take it. It is caused by the hormones in the pill. Because of the sharp pains I would recommend calling your doctor in the a.m. to let them know what's going on to see what they think.
