Your baby girl is probably pinching a nerve! I don't know from personal experience, but I heard that towards the end of your pregnancy, everything (in a sense) is getting squished and poked and prodded. If it gets any worse, maybe call the doctor. Good luck to you and congratulations!!!

Pinched Nerve In Abdomen

This is probably two differant things combined. For one your little girls head is probably moving into the birth canal and getting ready while your pubic bone is spreading to fit the head. That puts lots of pressure and pain in the vaginal area. Especially since this is a second baby, there are no longer the muscles there to help hold the baby up like there was with the first pregnancy so there will be more pain involved.
Also Braxton Hicks, which are like prepping contractions. They aren't strong enough to do anything, but are just prepping your body for the real thing.
If you are really worried call your OBGYN and get his/her imput. You can never be to careful if things just don't seem right to you. Good luck and Congratulations!!

I cured my sciatica with this natural treatment ( http://cure-sciatica.info )
Normally, I would not answer a question like this as my expertise is generally in medication but I had severe sciatica while I was pregnant with my 3rd child (after having had twins) and I had sciatica so bad that I was finding it difficult to walk. I tried massage therapy and physical therapy and could not take medication
I went to the chiropractor and the pain was instantly relieved. My hips and lower back were out of alignment because I had carried twins the year before. On occasion a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) can also work but they usually only work on one joint at a time - the chiropractor will do your whole back which works faster. Anyone who does not believe in chiropractors will tell you they are quacks - don't listen.
I don't necessarily believe that chiropractors can cure things like diabetes but they can definitely relieve some types of back pain especially if a pinched nerve is involved which is usually the cause of sciatica.

Sounds like the heavy baby has put stress on your sciatic nerve. Look it up. I had that too. Can sometimes cause your legs to go a little tingly or numb, especially when using the toilet for longer than a minute. Can cause those same pinches in the rear end too. Read up on it. Not a whole lot you can do about it, but doesn't sound like anything to be concerned about. Hang in there. It's almost over.

This does not sound normal. Maybe you need to call your doctor and let them know what is going on. Sounds like almost time for you to have this precious one. I would definitely call my dr. Your body is not the same w/all pregnancies and lots of things change in a 7 yr period. Hope this helps

I had the same thing! It was annoying. My doctor said it was just the pressure as the baby moves down in preperation for her birth! I was so sick of hearing..he's getting ready to come see you..i was like..just get here!

"real" labor pains that you remember don't happen until on into the delivery process.....i'd say that you're probably having some pressure and possibly some early contractions. you should be having weekly visits now, so i'd say talk to your doctor about it, but yes, i'd say it's very normal!!
