I was wondering if my mom is pregnant how many months does she wait to tell us?? Please Answer!!

The tradition is 3 months, if you're going to wait to tell.

The highest risk for miscarriage is in the first 13 weeks.... Most couples will wait until after this point to tell people so they do not have to tell everyone if she looses the baby.... It is painful enough to deal with a miscarriage let alone all the questions from people... So it is better to not tell anyone...

She'll probably wait until she's past her first trimester since that is when it's still considered a high risk period for miscarraige or anything like that. It's her decision when she feels it's right to tell you, but she'll probably find a time that seems right and break the good news to you. Congrats.

She will probably wait until she is at least in the 2nd trimester and if it is not planned then she will also have to get used to the idea herself before telling other people. I am sure she will tell you when the time is right.
Just remember that no matter what she is your mum and loves you.

it depends on her feelings. Some people tell right away, some wait 2-3 months until the chance of miscarrage is less. good luck to your mom!!

Whenever she is ready. I think she would tell you after she is atleast 12 weeks because the chance of a miscarriage goes down by 50% by then.

Can't you just ask her? She doesn't have to wait any months to tell unless she is waiting until she gets out of the first trimester to make sure she doesn't miscarry.

some couples like to wait till the first three months. but one or two if its in the family. congrats if your having a lil sibling!

Depending on her age.. she might be waiting to make sure everything is going okay before she tells anyone.
